If you’ve enjoyed our Around the Web blog posts, and would like to become more involved in Historians Against Slavery, this post is for you!
HAS is seeking volunteers who are willing to help compile and write our monthly web round-ups of articles about slavery and antislavery past and present.
What volunteers will do:
- Read through links that have been bookmarked on our Pinboard page since the last "Around the Web" post was published.
- Add to these links any other relevant pages you may have seen in your own web browsing or on social media channels during the past month.
- Arrange the links into a narrative essay of around 600 to 800 words.
For past examples of what these essays look like, and the kinds of links we collect, visit our Around the Web category page.
No technical expertise is required. It’s a great way to help HAS while educating yourself on the antislavery movement! If you are interested in signing up to write one of these posts, please contact
